What is the Fair all about?

Youth: Fairs are perfect for families! Kids can demonstrate and show off their creativity with all of the activities offered. There are loads of rides for all ages.

Rodeo: If you are an animal lover, a rodeo is the place for you to be. There are constantly animals being brought into the barns because of the 4-H program. Many activities are available at different fairs such as horse back riding, livestock shows, and bull riding contest so the fair is NOY just for the kids.

Pageants: Multiple fairs across the state are known for their contests. One of the biggest ones is the pageantry. Depending on the fair, girls ages 16 to 22 can compete in a number of activities including swimsuits, speech, ballgown, and hobby to see who would fit the role of royalty the best. Some fairs base their parents off of looks and some off of the involvement in 4-H and other volunteer oppurtunities.

RV and Camping: Most of the fairs offer a campsite and/or cabin, that way you and your family can spend the entire weekend having fun! Perfect for reunions, vacation, or even sometimes a wedding, the sites are often located away from the fair so you can enjoy a calm and peaceful night.
